Wish provides various features and solutions to help merchants prepare for the holiday season.

1. Using Vacation Mode
If you are planning to go on vacation and will not be able to fulfill orders as usual, please put your store in “Vacation Mode” at least 48 hours before your holiday. This will ensure that any pending orders can be properly processed before you go on vacation. New orders may appear in your merchant center up to 8 hours after you activate vacation mode. Once vacation mode is fully active, no new orders can be placed for your products.
Please note that activation of vacation mode will affect your overall impression levels and sales volumes. We are unable to guarantee that sales performance will return to previous levels even after vacation mode is deactivated. To avoid this issue, we strongly suggest you take advantage of our FBW solutions, and place sufficient inventories of your best-selling products with our warehouses so we can continue to fulfill them for you in a timely manner.
Merchants who keep your store live without proper management are likely to run into order fulfillment and shipping issues. This will negatively affect your overall store performance and ratings and we strongly advise against this.

2. Using Wish Express only mode
Wish Express Only mode is helpful for merchants who are not able to fulfill their non-Wish Express products, but can still fulfill their Wish Express products (for instance, via different overseas warehouses).
Enabling Wish Express Only mode will set all non-Wish Express products as ineligible for sale on Wish. Wish Express products will remain for sale.

3. Schedule Inventory Update of Promoted Products Ahead of Time
During the Chinese New Year period, Wish provides a useful tool to schedule inventory updates for specific products during a designated time period. Please refer to our step by step guide for details.
4. Schedule Disabling of Promoted Products Ahead of Time
During the Chinese New Year period, Wish provides a useful tool to schedule specific products to be disabled during a designated time period. Products can be disabled even if they have been selected for promotion without any penalty. Merchants typically schedule the disabled promoted product on the date they go on vacation. Note: For 2018, this tool will be available from January 29th to March 2nd 2018.
5. Using Fulfilled by Wish (FBW)
Successful merchants often prepare for the holiday period by stocking up on extra inventory for their bestsellers and ensuring reliable shipping logistics during this period to avoid unnecessary disruptions to their business. One way to avoid disruption to your sales volume is to take advantage of our FBW solutions, and place sufficient inventories of your best-selling products with our warehouses so we can continue to fulfil them for you in a timely manner.
