Wish has a strict policy against intellectual property infringement. Using a third party’s trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights, without proper authorization, is a direct violation of Wish’s Merchant policies and Merchant Terms of Service. Merchants are responsible for ensuring that their products and listings do not infringe and are encouraged to perform an intellectual property clearance check before listing products.
Using another party's intellectual property (image, trademark, logo, design, etc.) without authorization or promoting counterfeit products may result in Wish taking actions against you, including:
- Removing your listing
- Applying fines to your account
- Suspending your account
- Account termination
In addition, violating Wish’s intellectual property policies may result in other legal consequences. For example, an intellectual property owner may initiate a lawsuit against you or your store and may obtain a temporary restraining order (TRO). Click here to learn about TROs.
Wish has a strict policy against intellectual property infringement. If your product is found to violate Wish's policy, it will be removed, and you may be fined in accordance with our current policies. Merchants are allowed to dispute these removals and/or fines.
If a merchant repeatedly lists products that infringe on others’ intellectual property, the merchant will be subject to Wish’s Repeat Infringer Policy in which the merchant may incur greater fines, account suspension, and possibly account termination.
