To provide better fulfillment and shipping logistics for customers and merchants, we are introducing the new “Origin Country” field for all order fulfillment.
Below goes into details of how the new Origin Country field will affect fulfilling orders Manually, via CSV, and API:
The “Origin Country” will be a required field when fulfilling an order manually under the Action Required section.
Once you select Action → Ship on an available for fulfillment order, you will see the “Origin Country” field in the Confirm Shipping page:
When fulfilling an order via CSV, the field “Origin Country” will be available.

The following endpoints will have the origin_country_code parameter:
The origin_country_code parameter is the country where the package is shipping from. Country code should follow ISO 3166 Alpha-2 code. Example: CN, US

- Why are not all shipping providers / carriers shown when some Origin Countries are selected?
The Shipping Providers and service levels are evaluated and approved to provide the best service from the Origin Country.
For example: When the origin country is Mainland China, the shipping provider to fulfill with is WishPost. Check out this link to learn why Wishpost is the only accepted shipping carrier when shipping from Mainland China.

- When fulfilling an order via CSV and API, I received the error message: "Packages shipped from Mainland China must use WishPost." What does this mean?
This error message means that the merchant is fulfilling an order with the Origin Country set to Mainland China and with a shipping carrier other than Wishpost. All orders that originate from Mainland China must be fulfilled with Wishpost.

- Why will Origin Country be a required field?
Origin Country will be a required field because it helps to provide the best service levels based on the Origin and Destination country combination.
This will allow better Time to Door, Confirmed Delivery tracking, and better shipping services for customers and merchants.
- What if I mistakenly fulfilled with the incorrect Origin Country on Wish?
Once the origin country is set, it cannot be altered.
- Why is Wishpost the only available shipping carrier when the Origin Country is Mainland China?
Starting October 22, 2018 5PM Pacific Time, WishPost will be the only accepted shipping carrier for orders shipping from Mainland China. All other shipping carriers will not be acceptable for orders shipping from Mainland China, unless utilized through WishPost. Orders that are shipped from other countries besides Mainland China will be unaffected.
Merchant stores detected to violate these shipping policies will be subject to fines, penalties, payment withholding and/or possible suspension in the future.
If an order has been found to be shipped from Mainland China, and was shipped with a carrier other than WishPost after Monday, October 22nd, 2018 17:00:00 PST, the merchant will be fined $10 per violating order.
