To help merchants and Wish better track the refund reasons, effective January 23, 2019 00:00 UTC, the following merchant refund reasons will the only ones available: “Store is unable to fulfill order, unable to ship,”“Item is Damaged” and “Item Returned to Sender.”
The following API endpoint will be affected:
Refund reason codes 1, 25, and 32 should be utilized when refunding orders via API.
Please make the necessary changes ahead of these removals. After January 23, 2019 00:00 UTC, refunds submitted with other reason codes will error out and cannot be utilized.
Please utilize the refund reason ‘Item is Damaged’ if the product is damaged in transit.
