To encourage merchants to upload more new and unique products on Wish, reach more customers across the globe, and ultimately gain more potential sales, Wish will implement the following limited-time system updates to merchants between July 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC and September 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC:
- Newly-uploaded product listings may receive additional free impressions via various impressions channels, so that more fresh and unique products can be surfaced to customers most likely to engage with and/or buy them.
- The $2,000USD Store Registration Fee requirement for newly-created merchant stores will be waived during this two-month period.

How can I take advantage of these limited-time system updates?
The main goal of these system updates is to help merchants upload fresh and unique new products on Wish and reach more customers around the globe, expanding merchants’ product offerings and ultimately gaining more potential sales. During the two-month period, both ahead of and during the summer peak season, merchants are strongly encouraged to upload more new products to receive free impressions and potentially increase sales.
What types of stores will have the $2,000USD Store Registration Fee waived?
Only new stores created between July 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC and September 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC will have the $2,000USD Store Registration Fee waived. Existing stores created before July 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC and stores created after September 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC will continue to be subject to the $2,000USD Store Registration Fee as part of the onboarding flow. If merchants of existing stores created before July 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC would like to receive a refund of their $2,000USD Store Registration Fee, they may request a refund when they choose to close their account or when they are disabled during the onboarding process. Please note that although the $2,000USD Store Registration Fee is waived for stores created between July 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC and September 26, 2019 3:00AM UTC, any stores that are detected to be inactive for a long period of time may be subject to the $2,000USD Store Registration Fee at a later time. We strongly suggest that merchants focus more on store management and monitor store performance changes proactively to avoid being judged as “inactive”.
How do the additional free impressions and impression channels support my new product listings?
During the two-month period mentioned above, not only may newly-uploaded products receive free impressions, the listings may also get an impression boost via various impression channels and methods on the Wish app or Wish.com website. Examples of where these new product listings may be surfaced to customers include: personalized product recommendations, new/latest product feeds, and relevant search results and suggestions. Wish’s back-end algorithm will recommend new product listings through these various impressions channels so that fresh, unique, and good-quality products can reach more global customers who may be more likely to engage with (such as click on, save to WishList, and share) and/or buy them. By uploading new listings on Wish, merchants may be eligible for receiving additional free impression and potentially gain more sales.
