Leading up to and on the day of November 11, 2019, Wish will offer site-wide discount promotions to all customers around the globe as well as increase product promotions in various channels to drive more sales for merchants.
We've created this FAQ to walk merchants through some common questions about the 11/11 Festival in 2019, and how merchants can best prepare for it in order to reach more global customers and gain increased sales.
What is the 11/11 Festival?
Historically, November 11 is one of the top-sales days across the Wish platform. In order to continue this momentum, Wish is launching the 11/11 Festival in 2019, offering customers around the globe site-wide discount promotions. As part of the efforts to drive customer traffic and sales during 2019's 11/11 Festival, Wish will also increase product promotions via various Wish social media and external channels.
What discount promotions will be offered to Wish customers during the 11/11 Festival?
We are excited to share that the following discount promotions will be offered to customers site-wide:
- Throughout November 5 - November 8, 2019, Wish will specifically offer exclusive, site-wide discount promotions on all Wish Express products to kick off the 2019 11/11 Festival;
- On the day of November 11, 2019, Wish will offer discount promotions for customers around the globe.
How can merchants prepare for the 11/11 Festival?
To take full advantage of the anticipated high traffic and sales during the 11/11 Festival, ensure that you leverage all existing programs and/or features that Wish has to offer well ahead of this big day:
- Wish Express: enable Wish Express for your faster-shipping products, leading to more potential sales, faster payments, a Wish Express badge that customers can see, and more benefits. In addition, to take full advantage of the anticipated increase in customer traffic and sales November 5 - November 8, 2019 specifically for Wish Express products, we highly encourage you to pay close attention to Wish Express, and also add your products to Fulfillment By Wish (FBW) as well to automatically qualify for Wish Express.
- EPC: enroll your products in EPC for faster delivery times at reduced shipping rates, leading to improved customer reviews and product ratings, as well as increased repeat purchases.
- Fulfillment By Wish (FBW): add your products to Fulfillment By Wish (FBW) so that they are in closer proximity to customers.
- ProductBoost: create ProductBoost campaigns to get all eyes on your items and increase exposure of your listings.
- Clean image: select a qualified “clean image” for your products to be eligible for more potential impressions and sales from external sites or ad platforms.
- Upload new, unique products for customers to discover, buy, and love: continue to take advantage of the limited-time system updates that Wish rolled out in July 2019 to upload more new products for an opportunity to receive free impressions and potentially increase sales.
