- Fulfillment By Wish (FBW) & Wish Express
- Wish Express Only Mode
- Schedule Inventory Updates of Promoted Products
- WishPost Logistics
- Fulfillment Policy Extension
- EPC, Advanced Logistics Program, EPC Blue Preparation
- Vacation Mode
If you plan to keep your store open during the holiday, please prepare for sufficient inventory and optimize your store operations so that you can provide fast and reliable order delivery to your customers around the globe.
1. Fulfillment By Wish (FBW) and Wish Express
During the several weeks around the 2020 Chinese New Year (mid January to early February 2020), Wish products that offer fast-shipping options such as those stocked in Fulfillment By Wish (FBW) warehouses and those with Wish Express enabled will likely experience an increased demand from customers.
In anticipation of this potentially increased demand and sales for FBW products that automatically qualify for Wish Express, as well as Wish Express only products, FBW and Wish Express merchants are strongly encouraged to prepare for sufficient inventory now. Please add your high-quality, Wish-recommended top-selling products to the FBW US and FBW EU warehouses, and plan for the inventory to arrive at the warehouses by January 10, 2020.
Similarly, please plan for the inventory to arrive at your Wish Express warehouses by January 10, 2020.
In addition, for an opportunity to be eligible for the recently-introduced Fulfillment By Store (FBS) program and to prepare for an increased demand for FBS products as well, we also encourage merchants to continue adding sufficient inventory to the FBW-US-LAX warehouse.
Please note that all our FBW US and EU warehouses will be operational throughout the 2020 Chinese New Year period for your business needs.
2. Using Wish Express only mode
Wish Express Only mode is helpful for merchants who are not able to fulfill orders for their non-Wish Express products, but can still fulfill orders their Wish Express products (for instance, via different overseas warehouses).
Enabling Wish Express Only mode will set all non-Wish Express products as ineligible for sale on Wish. Wish Express products will remain available for sale.
Please ensure that the operation of overseas warehouses during the 2020 Chinese New Year is effective and timely.
Please note that this mode is only available to merchants with Wish Express-enabled products. Please visit this FAQ article to learn how to enable Wish Express Only mode for your store.
3. Schedule Inventory Update of Promoted Products Ahead of Time
With the Scheduled Inventory Update feature, merchants are able to schedule inventory updates for specific promoted products during a designated time period. Please refer to our step by step guide for details. In preparation for the 2020 Chinese New Year holiday starting January 25, 2020, please edit/update inventory by January 12, 2020 12:00AM UTC, and your scheduled inventory will be effective by January 19, 2020.
Inventory updates for promoted products can also be set to ‘0’ using the Schedule Inventory Update feature during the holiday time.
4. WishPost Logistics:

5. Fulfillment Policy Extension:
Merchants are expected to fulfill as quickly as possible to provide timely delivery for creating the best customer experience and prevent refunds.
To accommodate the holiday schedule, for orders released to China-based merchants only between January 15, 2020 4:00PM UTC and January 30, 2020 4:00PM UTC, the following fulfillment-related policies will be updated to accommodate the holiday time off for many China-based shipping carriers:
- Merchant Policy 5.1: orders fulfillment (marked shipped) timeline will be extended from 5 to 7 calendar days, i.e. if an above-defined order is not fulfilled / marked shipped in 7 calendar days, it will be refunded automatically (with $50 penalty per auto-refunded order) and the associated product may be disabled.
- Merchant Policy 5.5: the designated amount of time allowed after the order released time for carriers to confirmed shipped for the order without incurring penalties is extended as follows:
- Orders where (merchant price per item + shipping price per item) is less than $100 that are not confirmed shipped within 216 hours / 9 calendar days (extended from 168 hours) of the order being released will be penalized.
- Orders where (merchant price per item + shipping price per item) is greater than or equal to $100 that are not confirmed shipped within 384 hours / 16 calendar days (extended from 336 hours) of the order being released will be penalized.
6. EPC, Advanced Logics Program, EPC Blue Preparation
Please note that merchants are strongly encouraged to fulfill their EPC, EPC Blue, and Advanced Logistics Program orders as quickly as possible to provide timely delivery for creating the best customer experience and to prevent refunds. Merchants delivering EPC, EPC Blue, and Advanced Logistics Program orders during the 2020 Chinese New Year holiday and utilizing Yanwen and Wise as their pick-up carriers should make pick-up appointments with Yanwen and Wise before January 17, 2020 12:00AM Beijing Time. Merchants can make pick-up appointments by contacting WishPost Customer Service or contacting Yanwen and Wise directly.
To accommodate the holiday schedule, for EPC, EPC Blue, and Advanced Logistics Program orders released to China-based merchants between January 15, 2020 4:00PM UTC and January 30, 2020 4:00PM UTC, merchants’ corresponding parcels that arrive at the correct EPC, EPC Blue, and Advanced Logistics Program warehouses within 9 calendar days (216 hours) from the order released time will be combined. In this case, merchants also will be exempt from the late arrival fee outlined in Merchant Policy 12.2 (for EPC orders) and Merchant Policy 5.11 (for Advanced Logistics Program orders).
This is an extension upon the 7-calendar-day (168 hours) requirement in the current policies to accommodate the holiday schedule, and applies only to EPC, EPC Blue, and Advanced Logistics Program orders released between January 15, 2020 4:00PM UTC and January 30, 2020 4:00PM UTC.
Note that for orders released outside of the above-noted time range, merchants are still required to comply with the 168-hour delivery timeline for their EPC, EPC Blue, and Advanced Logistics Program orders, and will be subject to the late arrival fee outlined in Merchant Policy 12.2 (for EPC orders) and Merchant Policy 5.11 (for Advanced Logistics Program orders).
7. Vacation Mode
Vacation mode is ideal if you would like to halt all sales over the holidays. Your product impressions and product rankings will be held until vacation mode has been turned off. Sales, impressions, and product rankings will also resume as normal after vacation mode is turned off.
Please note: a merchant may be subject to penalties or suspension if the store has been found to falsely mimic vacation mode by altering product titles, descriptions, or shipping settings.
If you are planning to go on vacation and will not be able to fulfill orders as usual, please activate vacation mode for your stores at least 72 hours before your holiday or vacation starts. This will ensure that any pending orders can be properly processed before you go on vacation. New orders may still appear in your Merchant Dashboard up to 12 hours after you activate vacation mode. Please refer to this FAQ article for more detailed information on vacation mode and how to turn it on for your stores.
Once vacation mode is fully activated, no new orders can be placed for your products.
Merchants who keep their store live without proper vacation mode or time management are likely to run into order fulfillment issues. This will negatively affect your overall store performance and ratings and we strongly advise against this.
