Fulfillment By Wish (FBW) is a logistics program offered by Wish to merchants who ship orders to major customer markets in North America and Europe.
Merchants simply ship their inventory to a number of dedicated FBW warehouses located in the United States and Europe, and the FBW warehouses will take care of order fulfillment (pick, pack, and ship).
This article walks merchants through some overview information and frequently asked questions regarding FBW. Merchants may read the below articles on specific information around FBW US warehouses and FBW EU warehouse:
1. What are the FBW warehouses available to me?
Currently, Wish provides access to two different warehouses:
- FBW-US-PLG warehouse: located in Ohio, the United States
- FBW-EU-AMS warehouse: located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Starting June 23, 2021 7:00AM UTC, merchants will be able to create shipping plans to the new FBW-US-PLG warehouse and inventory checked in the FBW-US-PLG warehouse (either through merchant-create shipping plans or existing inventory transferred from FBW-US-ORD or FBW-US-LAX) will be available for sale. Currently, the FBW-US-PLG warehouse only supports delivery to the United States, but we may expand the supported regions and will promptly notify merchants of any updates.
The one EU warehouse supports delivery to 19 European destinations: France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Finland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Austria, and Portugal.
After signing into your Merchant Dashboard and navigating to FBW > Create a Shipping Plan page, the page itself will directly surface to you the exact warehouse(s) your account currently has access to.
2. What are the benefits of using FBW?
FBW helps you to take care of stocking, packing, and shipping your products, so you can focus on optimizing your products without having to worry about logistics.
Thanks to the speedy logistics provided by FBW, inventory in FBW also automatically qualifies for Wish Express and thus will receive up to 3x more exposure/impressions on wish.com or Wish app on average.
3. How do I sign up for FBW?
Upon agreeing to the FBW Terms of Service, all merchants have access to FBW-US-PLG warehouse automatically.
Merchants need to provide certain tax-related information first before gaining access to the FBW-EU-AMS warehouse. Visit this article for more details.
4. Where can I find the FBW Terms of Service?
You can simply navigate to the Merchant Dashboard FBW > Terms of Service. If you are using FBW for the first time, before you create your first shipping plan, you will see a popup modal on the FBW > Create a Shipping Plan page in Merchant Dashboard that prompts you to agree to the FBW Terms of Service as well.
5. How much does FBW cost?
Simply navigate to the Merchant Dashboard FBW > General Fee and Payment Information page, and you will find the detailed fee structure for each FBW warehouse. The shipping fee is charged by the warehouse after packages are weighed accordingly.
6. What type of products should I select for FBW? How many?
Merchants should prioritize products that have experienced historically high sales on Wish. FBW will reach more customers by increasing supply availability and improving delivery time. Products that have global appeal and that are not subject to seasonal trends are also good candidates for FBW. Depending on previous sales data, we recommend starting with an allocation of 20-100 units per SKU for FBW.

7. Are there certain limitations regarding the size or quantity of product I can ship to FBW warehouses at one time?
Yes. Please visit the following Help Center articles for details, which differ for FBW US and FBW EU warehouses:
8. I'm ready to use FBW. How do I get started?
1). The first step is to create a shipping plan on Merchant Dashboard or via API for shipping your inventory to the desired FBW warehouse. To learn more about the step-by-step process of creating a shipping plan in Merchant Dashboard, please visit this Help Center article.
2). Once a shipping plan is successfully created, you may then proceed with shipping your inventory to the desired FBW warehouse. Please ship products in a timely manner to the warehouse (we suggest no more than 6 business days after you create a shipping plan). You can view your action-required shipping plans via Merchant Dashboard FBW > Action Required Shipping Plans page or via API. For shipping plans that have been completed or canceled, please navigate to the FBW > Shipping Plan History page.
You can use your own carrier and/or freight forwarder to ship inventory directly to the warehouse. Merchants are responsible for products clearing the U.S. or NL Customs, so please work with your freight forwarder to clear the Customs.
Make sure you ship your inventory DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to all FBW warehouses. The FBW warehouses are not responsible for paying duty for you or notifying you about unpaid duties. The warehouses can also refuse to accept inbound shipments if duty is unpaid. Note that Mainland China-based merchants may leverage the WishPost Uni-Freight Program for their FBW first-mile logistics. Visit this article to learn more about the Uni-Freight Program.
3). Once your inventory arrives at the warehouse, it usually takes up to 2 business days for the warehouse to check in the inventory upon receipt. Your inventory will be considered as "Pending in Warehouse" before the check-in is completed (as shown in Merchant Dashboard FBW > Inventory page). Once the check-in process is completed, the inventory will be shifted to "Active in Warehouse" and available for sale:
Keep in mind that there is a chance your inventory is shipped separately in different boxes arriving at the warehouse on different days. In this case, you will see your pending inventory shifting to active status incrementally.
If you believe there is a discrepancy with inbound inventory, you can reach out to Wish and we will work with the warehouse to resolve it.
9. How do I pay for the warehousing cost and order fulfillment and shipping cost?
The system will automatically deduct occurred charges every billing cycle from your account balance. So you don’t need to front this part of the cost.
10. Do I get tracking numbers for all of my FBW orders?
Yes. All of your FBW orders are fulfilled with tracking-enabled shipping methods. Your package will have visibility from origin to destination. The FBW warehouse is required to ship packages in accordance with the Wish Express service level.
11. Who will be responsible for the post-fulfillment refunds?
Merchants are responsible for non-logistics-related refunds. Wish is responsible for all
12. When will I be paid for my FBW orders?
FBW orders will be eligible for payment 48 hours following the marked shipped date.
13. How can I monitor the insights or performance of my FBW operations?
To learn more about the FBW > Insights page, please visit this article.

14. How do I remove unwanted inventory from FBW warehouses?
For a variable fee, you can have inventory disposed of or have it transferred to another location of your choice within the U.S. or European countries of your choice.
Please note that following up on an announcement sent in January 2021, we are transferring all merchant inventory in FBW-US-LAX and FBW-US-ORD warehouses to FBW-US-PLG warehouse. Merchants with inventory in FBW-US-LAX and FBW-US-ORD do not need to take any actions, as all existing inventory in both US warehouses will be transferred to the new FBW-US-PLG warehouse at no additional cost.
However, as a result of this transition, we temporarily disabled the option to create “Remove Inventory” requests to all FBW US warehouses.
Please visit this article to learn more about the detailed process of inventory disposal or transfer.
