ProductBoost is Wish's native advertising tool for merchants. ProductBoost promotes your best products. Combined with Wish's state of the art optimization algorithm, ProductBoost increases the exposure of your products and get them in front of the customers who are most likely to buy them.
Merchants can create multiple campaigns with multiple products over different periods of time. Boosted products move higher up within the product rankings if they are relevant to Wish customers. High quality and engaging listings are eligible for even more impressions during the campaign period.
The system uses the machine learning algorithm to determine the best places to show the participating products. ProductBoost also optimizes the cost of impressions for your campaigns and promote your best products.
Why should I use ProductBoost?
You can use ProductBoost to reach more people and increase sales. If you’ve uploaded products to Wish and have not seen the sales you expect, you should pick your best products and promote them using ProductBoost.
This can help get your new products discovered faster and get your best-selling products in front of more customers faster and more efficiently.
What should I expect from using ProductBoost?
You should expect increased product sales and traffic.
Based on a controlled experiment, in which we were able to identify the true causal lift for merchants who were given access to ProductBoost, we saw that ProductBoost drove a 39% increase in sales. And for every dollar a merchant spent on ProductBoost, they increased sales by more than $7.50, and as much as $11.00 during the best week.
Your ProductBoost products may be shown on the Wish app and website, in the search results, in the related tab, and on other placements. ProductBoost enables products to show up higher in search results than they would otherwise be shown without ProductBoost. Your ProductBoost products will only be shown in the countries to which your store ships.
How do I tell when a product that I’m looking at is a ProductBoost product?
ProductBoost products are designated by the word “ad” on the impression.
Can I set a budget for my campaign?
Yes, you can set a budget when you create your campaign. The campaign spending is never greater than your budget. It's free to join ProductBoost and you only have to pay for impressions delivered. You determine how much you spend on ProductBoost.
Can I make changes to my products during the campaign?
Once a campaign starts running, you can make the following changes including:
- Extend campaign end date.
- Change the optional keywords associated with the product in the campaign.
- Increase budget.
All other attributes of the campaign cannot be changed once the campaign is scheduled to start, or already started.
How do I track the product performance from the campaigns?
After the scheduled campaign ends, select "List Campaigns" from the ProductBoost tab. Then, click on the completed campaign ID to be redirected to the specific campaign page. There, you'll see product impressions, sales, and GMV during the campaign.
