You have received an infraction because Wish has detected that your product listing may have infringed on another’s intellectual property. To dispute an IP infraction, either provide a Brand Authorization or edit the listing to address the issues noted in the infraction.
If you have legal authorization to sell a product you may dispute the infraction by submitting a Brand Authorization.
If you do not have legal authorization to sell this product, you may edit your listing to address the issues noted in the infraction.
Please see the below details on how you may respond to an intellectual property infraction, and what materials you may need as part of this process.
Provide Brand Authorization
This dispute method allows you to continue selling the identified product. If the dispute is successful, the infraction will be reversed.
1. To dispute an intellectual property infraction, you must first add a Brand Authorization. Click here to learn how to add a brand authorization.
2. After this has been added, select “Provide authorization” on the infraction page:
3. If you have Brand Authorization on file for the brand in question, select “Choose existing brand authorization” from the dropdown menu.
If you do not have brand authorization on file for the brand in question, select “Add New Brand Authorization” from the menu so that it may be reviewed. If the Brand Authorization is approved, you will receive an email from us notifying you of the approval.
The listing will then be reviewed for the request to re-list the product.
Edit the Listing
This dispute process allows you to edit the product listing to remove the infringing material and then sell the product again. However, the infraction for the original, alleged infringement will not be reversed.
1. To dispute the infraction, select “Edit the listing”:
2. Edit the product listing to remove intellectual property from:
-
- Title
- Description
- All Images
Note: the product cannot be changed to a completely new product.
3. Once all necessary edits have been made, select “Submit Edit Request”.
