Please note that this article pertains only to WishPost account registration and verification for Vietnam-based merchants. Prior to creating WishPost orders, be sure to register an account with WishPost logistics carrier as well.

If you are a Vietnam-based merchant and want to apply for aWishPost account, this article can help guide you through that registration and verification process.

Sign up for a WishPost account

1. Navigate to WishPost and click “Sign Up” in the upper right corner of the page to get started.

2. Select the Country/Region of Departure. As a Vietnam-based merchant, please select Vietnam as your Country/Region of Departure. Note that the Country/Region of Departure that you select here will decide the function and logistics channels offered by WishPost and you cannot change your Country/Region of Departure after submission.

3. Provide an email, password, and mobile phone number for your account.

4. Read and agree to the WishPost Platform Terms of Services and the WishPost Personal Information Protection Policy.

5. Click “Send SMS Code”. A popup modal will ask you to type the numbers in the picture. If the numbers are correctly submitted, an SMS verification code will be sent to the mobile phone number you provided.

6. Enter the SMS verification code you receive. 

7. Click “Next” and a verification code will be sent to the email address you provided.

8. Enter the verification code in the popup modal and click “Verify”.

9. You have now created a WishPost account.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your WishPost account. Once you enable it and we will send a verification code to your mobile phone number or email each time you log in. 

After you complete the account registration, you will be automatically redirected to enable Two-Factor authentication. You can choose to verify later and complete the verification the next time you log in to the system.

1. Click “Enable now” to start the verification.

2. Select the authentication method in the dropdown menu and click “Send Code”.

3. Enter the authentication code you receive and click “Verify” to complete the verification.

Link to a Wish Merchant Account

Prior to shipping Wish orders with WishPost, be sure to link your WishPost account with your Wish merchant accounts. You can link your accounts at any time by navigating to the Dashboard > Link Merchant Account page and entering your Wish Merchant Account ID.

Identity Verification

To verify your identity, you need to provide/select your account information, legal representative information, and company information. 

1. In the Account Information section, select the following:

• User Country/Region
• Account Type (Business account or Individual account)

As a Vietnam-based merchant, please select Vietnam as your User Country/Region. Note that if your User Country/Region is Vietnam and you have selected Vietnam as your Country/Region of Departure when signing up (see “Sign up for a WishPost account” above), then you can only select a Business account here.

2. In the Legal Representative Information section, provide the following:

• Legal Representative Name
• Personal ID No.
• Personal ID Type (Select from Driver’s license, Government-issued ID, and Passport)
• Personal ID Copy (Upload photo side)
• Personal ID Copy (Upload supplemental side)
• Validation Period

Please make sure that the legal representative's name you enter is the same as the Personal ID Card copy that you upload.

3. Next, provide the following company information:

• Company Name
• Business License No.
• Business License Country/Region of Issue (Select)
• Company Address
• Copy of Business License (Upload)
• Validation Period (Select)

Please upload an authentic and valid copy of your business license. Make sure the company information you enter is the same as the copy you upload.

4. Read and agree to the Personal Information Authorization Form.

5. Review and submit.

To ensure faster processing and WishPost approval, be sure to review all entered information. Once you confirm everything is accurate and click “Submit,” you will either see the following confirmation or error message asking you to provide/select the correct information.

The WishPost team will contact you in one to two business days. You can check your identity verification status on the account status page. If your identity verification is declined, the system will display the declined reason and you can click the pencil icon to update the information.
