Products with low ratings create a poor experience for Wish customers. A product with an average rating above 3 is generally considered acceptable, a product with an average rating above 4 is good, and the best products have an average rating close to 5.
Low-Rated Products Policy:
Per the Merchant Policy, "Refund Policy," if a product has an unacceptably low rating average, then the merchant will be responsible for 100% of the cost of all refunds on that product until the product is reevaluated. If the product is reevaluated and the rating has improved, the policy will no longer be in effect.
If a product has an extremely low average rating, it will be removed from Wish and the merchant will be responsible for 100% of the cost of all refunds. The product will not be reevaluated.
Products are evaluated on a weekly basis.
If a product receives a low rating, we strongly encourage that merchants be observant of their product ratings overall to prevent unacceptably low ratings going forward. Monitor customer feedback timely, and improve product quality in the case of negative reviews and low ratings. If product listing cannot be improved promptly, merchants may choose to disable the listing. Lastly, make sure that all components of the product listing (images, descriptions, etc.) accurately represent the item being sold in order to prevent low product ratings.
