5. Order delivery warehouse
Please consult "7. Warehouse address(es) to deliver Advanced Logistics Program orders to" in this article for details.
6. How to remove United States-bound Advanced Logistics Program orders from the program based on qualified reasons?
To help merchants ship their United States-bound orders most efficiently, merchants may remove United States-bound orders from the Advanced Logistics Program directly in Merchant Dashboard, based on a list of qualified removal reasons.
To remove an order, merchants may first navigate to the “Action” menu dropdown of the order in Orders > Unfulfilled Orders page in Merchant Dashboard, and select “Remove from A+ Program”, as shown below:
Merchants will then be presented with a popup modal where they can input more information, such as selecting one of the qualified reasons for the removal:
Please note the following about this list of qualified reasons:
- “Shipping from outside of Mainland China”: selecting this qualified reason for removing a United States-bound order allows merchants to ship it from their warehouses outside of Mainland China with faster delivery time and improved customer experience.
- “Unsupported product”: a list of currently unsupported product categories can be found in “3. Product categories unsupported by the Advanced Logistics Program” in this article.
- “Overweight” and “Oversized”: please refer to “2. What are the dimensions and weight limits for packages delivered to Advanced Logistics Program warehouse (Mainland China-originating, United States-bound orders)?” above for more information.
- “Other”: if “Other” is selected, merchants are required to elaborate in the “Comment” section below before removing the order (see below for details).
For “Shipping from outside of Mainland China” reason:
Per Merchant Policy 5.8, if merchants select “Shipping from outside of Mainland China” as the reason, the order must be fulfilled with a Confirmed Delivery Carrier. Therefore, in the popup modal here, merchants need to check the checkbox “I will ship this order with a Confirmed Delivery Carrier. Learn more about the Confirmed Delivery Policy” before proceeding:
Given the above, merchants must also comply with the confirmed delivery timeline requirements outlined for these orders: Merchant Policy 5.4 and Merchant Policy 7.5. Merchants should ship the order from their warehouses outside Mainland China by selecting a non-Mainland China “Origin Country/Region” in Merchant Dashboard. Note that if these types of orders have been found to be shipped from warehouses within Mainland China, merchants will be penalized $100 per noncompliant order.
For qualified reasons other than “Shipping from outside of Mainland China”:
If merchants select a qualified reason other than “Shipping from outside of Mainland China”, because these orders are still shipped from Mainland China, they must be fulfilled with WishPost.
However, merchants may choose the appropriate WishPost logistics channels based on whether the removed order is subject to the Confirmed Delivery Policy or not. Specifically,
- If the order is subject to the Confirmed Delivery Policy, merchants must fulfill the order with WishPost and select an appropriate WishPost logistics channel and service level that provide last-mile tracking (i.e. delivery confirmation);
- If the order is not subject to the Confirmed Delivery Policy, merchants may fulfill the orders with any WishPost logistics channel of their choice.
For example, a merchant selects “Overweight” as the reason for removing a United States-bound order from the program. If this order is subject to the Confirmed Delivery Policy, then the merchant is required to ship this order with a WishPost logistics channel that provides last-mile tracking (i.e. delivery confirmation). In the popup modal, the merchant must check the checkbox shown below before proceeding:
On the other hand, if this order is NOT subject to the Confirmed Delivery Policy, the checkbox shown above will not appear in the popup modal, and the merchant may choose any WishPost logistics channel to fulfill this order.
Note that if selecting “Other” as the removal reason, merchants are required to elaborate in the “Comment” section below before proceeding:
Removing corresponding product from the program
In the same popup modal, merchants may also choose to remove the entire product associated with the order from the program by selecting this option, as shown below:
Note that if this option is selected, future orders for this product will not be included in the program anymore. But if Wish audits the selection and finds that the product is removed for non-qualified reasons, Wish will add that product back to the program. Please note that the qualified reason selected by merchants above apply to both order and product removal.
Lastly, click “Remove order”, and merchants will be redirected back to Order > Unfulfilled Orders page. The customer’s shipping address for the removed order will be presented to merchants under the “Ship to” column on this page.
Once the order is successfully removed from the Advanced Logistics Program, the icon “Advanced Logistics Program” will disappear. If the order requires delivery confirmation (either because 1). it will be shipped from outside of Mainland China, or 2). it is subject to the Confirmed Delivery Policy and will be shipped from within Mainland China), the icon “Confirmed delivery required” will remain:
In the example screenshot above, the tooltip applies to the scenario where merchants removed this order from the program for the reason of “Shipping from outside of Mainland China”.
