Legal authorization to list a product means a merchant has legal authorization on all intellectual property (IP) used in the product listing. That means merchants must have authorization for all patents, trademarks and copyright used in a product listing.
For each piece of intellectual property in a listing merchants must prove either:
1. The merchant owns the IP.
OR
2. The IP owner provided authorization for the merchant to use it.
If your brand authorization was rejected the merchant has failed to provide sufficient proof for one of the cases above.
Check to make sure that you are own all the intellectual property on your product listing or that you have explicit permission to use the IP from the owner.
