Disabling a product listing does not remove it from Wish, but it does make it unavailable for purchase. (If you want to permanently remove a product listing, please read "How to Remove Product Listings From Wish.".)
Reasons to disable product listings include products that are out of stock, no longer available, or on backorder. You may also disable listings if you plan to be on vacation and are momentarily unable to fulfill orders. (Read about how to manage vacation settings.)
There are two ways to disable product listings: manually or via a CSV file.
The CSV file also has an option to pull a report of just your underperforming product listings (for disabling), which is helpful when managing Listing Fees. Keep reading to learn more.
-----------------------------------------------
Disable Listings Manually
You can disable one or more product listings at a time when you choose to do so manually.
1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard
2. Go to Products > View All Product
3. Find the column "Listing Enabled"
4. Click to uncheck box(es) for the listings you want to disable
5. "Save" your changes
To view or enable previously disabled products, click on the "Filter" button (top right). A list of filter options display at left; under Listing Enabled choose "Disabled" then click on the blue "Apply" button on the far right.
Disable Listings Via CSV File
You can disable multiple product listings at once with a CSV file.
1. Go to the Merchant Dashboard > Products > Add/Edit Products with CSV
2. Click the radio button to "Edit existing products"
3. Select to "enable or disable products" from the "Select a template" drop-down
4. Choose to either "Download catalog" (to disable products from a list of your products) or "Download template" (if you have a list of Product SKU and SKUs ready to disable)
a. If you "Download template," be sure to populate the required attributes (Parent SKU, SKU, Enabled) accordingly
5. Enter No in the "Enabled" column (if you want to enable, then enter Yes)
6. Save your updates as a CSV file
7. Upload (or "drop") the CSV template
To check on the upload status, navigate to Products > Product CSV File Status page on Merchant Dashboard and select "View full report" for this particular upload job. Once everything is done processing, your Products > View All Products page should reflect this change by showing all your products as disabled.
CSV File to Disable Underperforming Product Listings
If you hope to minimize/avoid Listing Fees, you may choose to disable products in bulk via a CSV file. However, better than just adding or editing products with CSV, you can download a CSV file of specific underperforming products for you to quickly and easily make informed choices to disable/enable products.
1. Go to the Merchant Dashboard > Products > View All Product
2. Click on the “Download a CSV/XLSX” drop down (top right) and choose “CSV for underperforming products”; you are redirected to the CSV download center
a. Note the "Status" should say "Processing"; it can take up to a few days for the file to generate
3. Download your CSV file once it is ready
4. Type No in the "Enabled" column of product listings you want to disable (type Yes to keep listings enabled)
5. Go to "Disable Listings Via CSV File" (above) and follow instructions to upload your CSV template
