Effective images tell a visual story about a product, draw customers in, and help them make purchasing decisions. We recommend that you upload images for all product variations to provide an optimal customer shopping experience on Wish. Similar to adding products, you can add product images manually, via CSV feed file, or via API.
NOTE: First, if you have not done so yet, you may want to read about optimizing your main image on Wish before jumping into how to add images.
Add Images Manually
Navigate to Merchant Dashboard Products > Add New Product page where you can upload multiple images in the Product images section while adding a new product:
A main image and any extra image(s) are uploaded, and you can manually swap the images to set your main image as well as your extra image(s):
At this step, you may also select a clean image to potentially increase sales and impressions from external sites or ad platforms.
Note that the images uploaded via the Product images section are not specific to any product variations unless you specify in the Variations (optional) section (see below). Here, after specifying product variations, you have the opportunity to set images directly for each variation.
Add Images via CSV Feed File
Consult our article on how to add/edit products via CSV file as it also instructs for adding images and other product attributes (via three column headers: main image, extra images, and variation image). Download an example CSV from the Merchant Dashboard Products > Add/Edit Products with CSV.
Add Images via API
Follow the API instructions on how to update a product(s).
- Add the main image to a product with the main_image field.
- Add extra images to a product with the extra_images field.
- Link the main image to a variation(s) with the variations field.
