CSV files allow you to add/edit products in bulk to the Merchant Dashboard.
Add Products
1. Navigate to Products > Add/Edit Products with CSV. Select the radio button for “Add new products.”
2. In the category table, select/search for up to five categories that your products best fit.
3. Click “Download template.” Complete the downloaded CSV template by filling in all required fields (marked with an asterisk in the template) and relevant optional fields. Leverage the resources under the “Useful links” section as needed to complete your downloaded template. See details on these resources below:
- Find category ID: Download a file containing a comprehensive category list to find Category ID.
- Find category attributes and values: Use the Categories and Attributes page to find the relevant attributes and their accepted values for your products based on their category.
- See all other attributes: Use the Required and Optional Attributes article to view all required/optional non-category specific attributes.
4. Select the option “CSV file for adding new products” under the “Upload completed CSV template” section. Then, add your completed template file and click “Upload file.”
5. After successfully uploading, your file is under review. Listings go live within three days.
For more information on upload status, check Products > Product Listing Feed Status. You may hit the “Cancel” button on this page to stop an upload if desired. When an upload is complete, you receive an email.
Edit Products
1. Navigate to Products > Add/Edit Products with CSV. Select the radio button for “Edit existing products.”
2. Select a template option from the dropdown that matches your desired edit action. After selecting a template, view the description card below the dropdown for more information.
3. Click “Download template” and complete the template by filling in all necessary fields. Leverage the resources under the “Useful links” section as needed to complete your downloaded template. See details on these resources below:

4. Once completed, select the option “CSV file for editing existing products” or “CSV file for adding new variations” (based on your action) under the “Upload completed CSV template” section. Then, add your completed template file and click “Upload file.”
5. After successfully uploading, your file is under review. Listings with changes to Title, Description, Images, Category ID, Video URL, GTIN, Variation Option, Size, or Color for existing products go live within three days. Listings with all other changes go live within a day.
Check Products > Product Listing Feed Status for more information on upload status. You may hit the “Cancel” button on this page to stop an upload if desired. When an upload is complete, you receive an email.
